Our living room lamp is named "Lokki", which is Finnish and means seagull. It was designed by Yki Nummi, one of the great Finnish mid-century designers, in 1960. The English name of it is Sky Flyer although it is also widely known as the flying saucer.Lokki is still in production; our lamp is new, not vintage. We got ours from Paloranta (where it for some reason was more than 150 euros more affordable than elsewhere!?)
I like it!
